Spitfire Updates – May 20, 2011

After attempting to rebuild the master cylinder, it seems that the bore of the cylinder is just tired, as the seals didn’t fix the slow leak.  In fact, new seals sped up the leak.  So, I broke down and ordered a replacement last week.  Hoping it will arrive this week so I can give the old G-RAFFE a spin around the block.

Once that is done, I’ll be tackling the valve cover gasket and the tranny fluid check.  Then She’ll be good to go for the season I believe.  I also was able to get my sand blaster back in working order, so now I can finish prepping the new frame, it will just take some time as my compressor is mighty small..
